A close-up view of the Big Buddha of Phuket, officially known as Phra Phutta Ming Mongkol Eknakiri, a 45-meter tall statue made of concrete and covered with white marble, located atop Nakkerd Hill.
The Big Buddha has been closed for many months now, due to dangers posed by soil erosion, so you can’t go all the way to the top of the hill anymore. But this is what you would see if you could go all the way up.
