The Circus Liquor sign is a famous neon sign located in North Hollywood, California, featuring a giant clown that stands 32 feet tall. It was installed in the 1960s to advertise Circus Liquor store at the corner of Lankershim and Burbank Blvd.
The sign has appeared several movies, including the 1995 comedy “Clueless” as the after-hours spot where Cher (Alicia Silverstone) was mugged.
