About Tony Edwards

Tony Edwards is a native of Los Angeles, California. He worked in the entertainment industry as an actor, stand-up comedian and writer for more than 50 years.

Although he never worked as a professional photographer, his skill and passion for photography grew, in large part, from shooting the underground electronic music scene in Los Angeles. In 2002, he went to Burning Man. He ended up returning for 15 consectutive years.

In 2015, Tony was involved in a traffic accident in which his wife, Laura, was killed and he was seriously injured. After his recovery, Tony decided to take a trip to Southeast Asia. Although he didn’t initally plan to stay, he fell in love with Thailand and now calls Phuket his home.

In addition to photography, Tony passions include fitness, performing in and directing community theater and building websites.

For Tony, though, the above activities are mearly “things to do”. His prime directive in life is to be “mindful”. His website, “The Burning Log”, is where he plies his abilities in photography/videography, writing and speaking on camera to most important task in his remaining days; to help people get out of their heads and find “The Joy of Being”.
